Happy New Year!
We're excited to make a few changes to the team, and we think you'll be excited too! First and foremost, our team is making the transition from an independent team to a class operated through the Clyde Recreation Center. While this won't change our operations, it does mean that Springville Masters Swimming is now completely free! As a class provided by the center, all of our sessions are now included in your normal membership or day admission pass.*
We've also had to say goodbye to our coach Samantha Ripley. We really enjoyed having her to coach our Thursday nights, but we're also excited for her to continue her career as an elementary school teacher! Good luck Sam! Our Thursday workouts will continue to be coached by John.
With our change from an independent team to a class, we've chosen not to renew our registration with US Masters Swimming, though we still encourage you to register with USMS so that you can compete at the many meets offered for adult swimmers in the state. But, if we get a group of people who wish to register and compete then we would love to reregister so we can support you at meets!
