Welcome to Springville Masters

We've Officially Started!

Finally we can say that we are a fully functioning, practicing swim team after our first practice last Monday.  We think it was phenomenal, but you'll just have to try it out for yourself.

Workout -- 4 Jun 2018

We provide one or two workouts weekly in case you are going out of town or just need to swim on your own.  This workout establishes our "Base Time" System.  Your "Base Time" (BT) is a time interval specific to you that we can use to personalize workouts to your specific speed and ability.

The slashes indicate alternative options to make the set easier or harder depending on your skill level.

Warmup:
  • 200/100 Choice Kick
  • 10-15 min. technique

Test Set:
  • 10/5/3x100 FR on fastest interval; Set should take appx. 13-18 minutes;  The completed interval will serve as your “Base Time” for use in sets later on, so you should remember what it was.
  • 100/50 easy

Technical Set:
  • 4x50/6x25 FR; working on one or two cues

Warm down (200/100 Choice)
